South Baldwin Regional Medical Center is Hiring a PACS Administrator Near FOLEY, AL
This position supports the Director and Assistant Director of Radiology in managing the Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS) and supporting the Radiology Information System (RIS). This includes management of the system, equipment, supplies, planning, implementing, and storage space. Maintaining quality and regulatory standards is an important responsibility of this position, as well as building and maintaining relationships between Radiology, IS and PACS users.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, project management, IT and healthcare standard
skills preferred.
- B.S. degree in a related healthcare discipline or Minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting software in a medical environment required.
- ABII certification within two years of hire.
- Experience with Medhost and or Carestream PACS would be helpful.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills.
- Must possess strong communication skills.
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Have a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience within the last 3 years in a radiology settingÂ
None required, ARRT or ABII preferred
